Arturo Vidal received a pleasant surprise from Inter’s vice-president Javier Zanetti on Tuesday.
The Chilean midfielder is busy working to shake off a knee injury he sustained earlier this month, which forced him to sit out the Nerazzurri’s derby win over AC Milan last weekend.
Vidal trained on both of Inter’s days off this week but had Zanetti for company at Appiano Gentile yesterday.
The 33-year-old was clearly grateful for Pupi’s support while he tries to regain fitness, tweeting: “Thanks for the company, captain!”
